Another great meeting & delicious breakfast
This morning we all trouped out in the near darkness to head to Sue’s Country Teapot, I arrived to find Stuart and Jeremy looking over the shoulder of Stuart H who was showing them the new website he’s been building, before I could get a look our guest Carole arrived and soon we were engaging in talk of arthritic Labradors and the benefits of massage in older dogs. Becky the owner of the cafe arrived with a pot of tea, she knows I’m a tea person and makes me feel so welcome by always bringing me my own pot.

Stuart kicked off the meeting and in the short time that I’ve been a member I’ve noticed how much more relaxed he’s getting when he presents and how we’re getting to see the real Stuart. One thing I think we can all agree on is there’s such a nice atmosphere to these networking meetings, everyone feels like old friends even if you’ve just met them and I feel so much happier doing business with people who I genuinely like.
Our guest speaker had been unable to attend but this gave us a chance to plan for the new website which will have a members area with links to our websites, social media as well as displaying our logos, so we wrote down our blurb (with a bit of advice from Colin first) and added our numbers and all the info we could think to add.

Today I had my 1-2-1 meetings with Jeremy to talk about the Mid Norfolk Business Show, then with Carole to discuss her practice and how she works in connection with veterinary surgeries. Then it was my turn to speak with Stuart H about the website. I was so excited, that was until I realised I’d have to input all the information we’d collected on our cards!! But seriously the website is really all singing and dancing and will be mainly automated with an online booking system and newsletter sign up and so the geek in me is very excited about some of the back end features.
We finished on time today so well done Mr Day, keep up the good work.
